    He prefers to use his thumb, and he said about using other fingers anyway. It’s really up to the person playing the instrument how they play it, so if you want to play the notes with your pinky rather than your thumb you can.

    this is cool, glad they’re making some tap-bass lessons, but they need MORE! the bored primary bassist ALWAYS reverts to alternate techniques like this. it’s weird how he plays the bass notes with his thumb, though (unless that’s proper technique, i wouldn’t know, cause they need to post more vids of this!!!!!)
