does anyone know of a good website wer i can learn to play bass guitar free?

i got a bass guitar and need to learn how to play but i cnt go lessons cos its too expensive

i dont know but i love you for playing it we need more bassists in the world.

    there are none. you can get beginner books and teach urself. its alot more fun and u learn better that way

    If you have comcast digital cable with ondemand, use ondemand they have a whole section with free lessons. And its free as long as you have ondemand.

    There are a few good sites out there.
    http://www.activebass.com is a good site with lots of free lessons and a number of good tools like mp3 playbacks of tunes/lines you’re learning and you can sort the lessons by skill-level.

    http://www.cyberfretbass.com is also nice. The organization is a little weird, but if you’re willing to look through the many lessons on the site to find the right ones for starting out, it’s great.
