Bass Tutorial

I figure I’d offer some bass tutorials from a player who has worked their way up and isn’t a ripped copy off some of the best to ever play (Victor Wooten’s tapes are great for advanced players though). I figure things like Expert’s Village (How did they get that title anyhow? Their videos suck…) and some others just don’t cover the basics that some “teach yourself” bass players might need.

I’ve taken music theory and private lessons and I’ve scrounged my way up like most other players and I’m hoping these are well received enough that it helps people and I’ll make more to meet any needs. Just send requests for what you want taught.

    Learn supportive …
Learn supportive fingering and perfect technique, I used to play like you until a few months ago when a new teacher showed much how much your technique effects your sound and how much it effects your speed and accuracy, trust man, learn those things until they are perfect. I’ve been playing 6 years and now study jazz bass at university and I still only learnt those things a few months ago, so get out of bad happens and you will be suprised with the results :)

    good luck x
