I am wanting to learn to play the bass guitar and I am looking to know everything there is to learn behind the actual playing.
Can any one please introduce me to a website or in the direction of a book that I can study.
Thanks and Shalom
Instead of trying to find someone on the internet, go to the closest music store and ask. Guitar is a personal thing and it can’t be taught on-line. You have to learn how to hod it, the strumming strokes, how to use the fret board, and more. My son took classes for about five years. He now plays regular guitar (acoustic and electric) and bass.
You might want to find someone who’s very patient and enjoys kids, depending on his age of course. It’s nice to be able to have someone he can call if he has questions too. After all, that’s what good teachers do.

Studybass would be a nice website, I’ve only been playing the Bass Guitar for a few months, so I’m not that great with it, but I use that, and if your looking for Tabs, I suggest Bassmasta.
