@yoyoyowutisup Lol, I’m am one of the few people that watch this video that gets that joke..And its probably true, probably not. But we can both agree that Alex Webster is a beast.

  6. 1bengosha1 says:

@KenBernaerts no its good practise to use the pinky, when you get onto higher levels of playing your life is a hell of a lot easier if you can use your pinky aswell as the other 3 fingers

  7. Upritebass says:

@MonkeyManBlues You’re right, he’s not doing the Blues, relative or minor pentatonic scale. The major and parallel pentatonic scales basically (I explain it this way for expedience purposes) use the Root, 2,3,5,and 6 of the Ionian and Dorian respectively, but the Blues pentatonic (parent scale of the Blues scale) omits the 4th degree of the basic Blues scale.

  8. MonkeyManBlues says:

That’s not a Pentatonic Blues Scale. You’re simply doing a blues shuffle on the 7ths. G7 C7 and D7 with a IV to V chromatic turnaround. Pentatonic scales are the I, II, III, V, & VI scale degrees. BIG difference.

  9. amphion says:

    @KenBernaerts Why?

  14. CheeseZombieo says:

You should of positioned the text boxes somewhere where it doesn’t impair what people are trying to see you do.

  15. leopower7 says:

@KenBernaerts Music doesn’t care what finger you use.

  20. BroodwarManiac says:

A little note:why does he play pentatonic with only index and pinky? It’s easier to play it with index and ring! I just don!t understand this.

  21. joleeee says:

for that money, u should have bought a flat buddy :)

  22. lilgmichael says:

    It has a great action?
Do they have fixed bridges? If not then its totally adjustable so that’s a totally invalid comment. I have played a couple of Fender basses (not many) and never any above £500 I think, but every one I’ve played sounded and played like an expensive shit.
Maybe its just against my preference but I wont argue for a big name if I don’t like their instrument(s).

  23. groulxma says:

I said this because, the jazz bass is a great all around bass. there is a reason fender has been making them for so long. its easy to play, has great action, and Im sure noone that has ever played one has had anything to complain about.

  24. lilgmorris says:

    No
I’ve never played a Fender that i’ve liked but i have played cheaper basses that i’ve liked.
Its not as simple as that.
My Cort is good because i take care of it and i put in time to think about what amp setting and strings compliment it.
Get a bass you’re comfortable with that sounds good and focus on the look last

  25. groulxma says:

just buy a fucking jazz bass, is all you should of said.
