@ichaichaparadice hence why I said ”and body in some cases” I do own a Vintage 525b bass without a pickguard and to be honest, I don’t even feel a difference between playing with or without a pickguard = no need for this face -.-
…
@GetoutofMyYard1 Not everybody has a pickguard on their bass -.-
Ur a messed up little dude
i was gonna buy a bass like that one
lol g string
3:00 Geddy Lee does that
So it’s not actual “thumb position” like Steve Bailey?
he looks like a squirrel when he spins in the chair! LOL
@GetoutofMyYard1
Thanks alot!

if you mean strumming, I could share how I do it.
1) if you can use your third finger, going like 1,2,3,1,2,3 is kindof hard with the timing. Going like 1,2,3,2,1,2,3,2 is actually better!
2) My method is like this. 2,1,1. The second time you use the 1 (index) two times after each other, is because I normal strum, then strum again with my nail (backwards)
Oh, and I don’t think a pinky is strong enough for strumming, but in the end strumming with two fingers is the most comfortable

Err… Myself, I just ”hold” my thumb on the pickguard (or body in some cases) and move my thumb to the E string whenever I need to strum the ones below it. You’re making it unnessecary hard if you move your thumb to the A or G string =
0:29 need i say more
Nice sweaty back
Which fingers do you use 1st, 2nd and 3rd? and do you use your pinky sometimes?
What about when you play 16th notes? do you just go 1,2,1,2,1,2 or 1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1…………….
i like him to be my bass teacher xD, he seems funny person ^_^
what about playing with a pick?
Anyone know if crecent bass guitars are any good?
