Thank you George!
I like your videos but I’m still struggling with my slap technique, can you please help me?
Whenever I slap on any string other than the E, I always find myself slapping more than one string. I’ve tried muting other strings with my fretting hand fingers (is it true you shouldnt mute the low E with your thumb)? Bottom line is, how should I slap when I only want to play the A,D, or G string? Sorry for the long comment, and Thank you very much! Your reply will mean a lot to me
really helpfull …
really helpfull thank George
A couple of things …
A couple of things might help achieve good aim:
1. Make sure your thumb is parallel to the strings
2. After a while try not to look at your slapping hand. In the case of slapping, our aim is usually better when we feel rather than see.
3. Persevere
Bass of Luck!
George
P.S. If none of the above help, post a video of the occurrence.
