Double thumb slap bass technique lesson

http://www.myspace.com/weareshoshin that’s my band!

This is a relatively simple (as these things go) straight time riff using the double thumb that I discovered and thought would make a good lesson.
This is the first lesson I have filmed in this way.
It is aimed at beginner-intermediate bass players.
Any pointers or anything please let me know
Just in case it helps the notes for th riff are A,C,D,E, for the first fill it’s G,E,D,E and the second fill it’s D,C,G,Gsharp
Hope this video is helpful at least to some of you.
Thanks for watching.

My bass is an Overwater Progress 3 Custom, please see www.overwaterbasses.com for more information.

you gotta make sure the string is hitting the fret, so make sure your thumb is striking and pulling off perpendicular to the body of the bass, and not parallel to it in an up and down strumming motion… hope thats easy enough to understand without drawing you a little diagram!!!
