   One thing I don’t completely understand is the spaces in between the different ‘notes’. How do you know how long to pause? Is it just done by ear, if you know the song?

   @rociogodina714 they will be a forward slash to slide down, and a back slash to slide up. ( / and ). Like 5/9 is from the fifth to the ninth fret.

   hey! great lesson but I’m still a little confused. i have a few questions:

   1.are all tabs going to be read that way ?
   2.how would i play the tab if it has a really long line in between
   (would that be timing?)
   3. and if there space out from each other
